Piazza della Signoria (Loggia dei Lanzi Statues & Palazzo Vecchio) Pictures

The highlights of this bustling area were the amazing statues and sculptures. As you can see in the photos they are so detailed and life-like. Our favorites included the pair of Medici Lions, the fountain of Neptune, and just about every one else under the roof of Loggia dei Lanzi. Palazzo Vecchio was quite imposing with its defensive tower looming over the entire Piazza della Signoria.
